WINTER SOLSTICE REST CLASS
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 21ST, 2024 AT SHAMBHALA FARM - 6:00PM
Gather with me on the longest night of the year for a restful and reflective evening at Shambhala Farm. Restorative Yoga uses supportive props to create deeply relaxing postures, inviting the body and mind to settle into a place of peace. This practice is gentle and restful, helping release tension and calm the nervous system.
The Winter Solstice marks the darkest day of the year and the gradual return of light. It’s a natural invitation to turn inward, reflect, and set intentions for the season ahead. Celebrated for its symbolic meaning, the Solstice reminds us to honor cycles, endings, and new beginnings.
In this class, I combine the reflective energy of Solstice with Restorative Yoga and meditation, guiding you into deep relaxation as we welcome winter’s quiet, contemplative qualities. We’ll honor this transitional moment through supported postures, finding stillness, and embracing rest to nurture inner light and clarity.
Following class, we’ll gather by the fireplace for a homemade vegan dinner and hot tea, celebrating community and connection. With warmth, conversation, and good company, we’ll embrace the season's spirit and welcome the promise of light’s return.
Please Note: Space is extremely limited. Because of this, booked spots are non-refundable.
